A simple clean colour scheme that would work well across three different audiences (tutors, parents and students) each with their own login and version of the product.

A Safe Learning Environment

Purelearn was setup to provide a safe learning environment. As well as using encryption across the whole service, 100% of tutors had undergone rigorous background vetting.

Interactive Classroom

An interactive whiteboard allowed the tutor to share many standard types of documents with classes of upto five students at once, allowing writing onto the screen using a mouse of tablet device, as well as group internet browsing. A flashmedia server was setup to allow the streaming of the tutors audio and camera to each student, with the tutor having the controls to allow a specific student to be heard by the whole class.

Promotional Tutors Brochure

An informational mini-site was setup specifically to recruit tutors prior to a public launch. This features an FAQ section, an online joining process (background CRB vetting) and a promotional brochure.

Extensive Online Marketing Campaign

A significant and successfull marketing campaign was ran across Google, Facebook and Mumsnet (UK’s largest parenting community). This worked so well, we had to turn off the advertising to reduce sign-up bottlenecks and delays related to tutor background vetting.
